Tó Nizhóní Aní is a grassroots organization established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. TNA for short, the organization was first established to address the drawdown and contamination of the Navajo Aquifer by coal mining.


TNA works to mobilize the communities of Black Mesa and other coal impacted areas of the Navajo Nation. TNA primary function is to educate, interpret technical data for Navajo speaking members and provide support opportunity for members who want to advocate for mining and water issues. TNA is based on Black Mesa
